Recruitment for the 2018 edition is now open!

We invite teachers from EU countries to apply for this year’s edition of the Sound in the Silence project.

This year 4 selected groups of upper secondary school students from 4 European countries will spend 9 days, between 23 September and 2 October, visiting Warsaw, Poland, to explore the history of the two Warsaw uprisings – Warsaw Ghetto uprising of 1943 and Warsaw Uprising of 1944. They will learn about their history, with a special attention given to the forms of resistance.

To be eligible to apply, you need to teach at an upper secondary school located in one of the member states of the European Union. The students which you would like to engage in the project must be between 14 and 19 years old. All participants must have a good command of English (at least B2 level).
